Humans
Human is the Race with which the player must start.
Humans have stats balanced enough that they may effectively perform any profession.
Humans can choose to be a part of either the Elf or Giant clan, and will recieve a free character card corresponding to the clan which they chose. Humans may also choose to remain neutral.
Humans may use heavy armor, but cannot wear Elf- or Giant-only clothes.
Elves
Elves reside in Phillia on the continent of Iria.
An elf can run faster than a Human.
Unlike humans, elves shoot two arrows at once when using Ranged Attack.
They can also shoot while they are moving; however, there is a 50% chance that the attack will miss. If one arrow misses, so will the other.
Elves are the only race that can shoot arrows on horses and other Mounts.
Elves are granted the ability to Hide. While this is enabled, the elf's mana will be depleted at a constant rate. When using this skill, the elf cannot be seen by any other character, including other elves.
Elves may transform into a Falcon after completeing a lengthy quest. The transformation works similarly to humans' Paladin transformation (i.e. has a time limit and can only be used once a day Erinn time).
Elves cannot use Heavy Armor or Two-Handed Weapons. They also cannot dual wield.
Giants
Basic Information Giants are a tall and strong race specialized in close combat.
Giants run faster than humans but slower than elves.
They can't ride small mounts due to their size; when a giant summons a mount, the pet's model is resized to be able to carry its giant master. A giant's mount can only hold one giant at a time. It can, however, carry a giant and a human or elf rider, provided it is a mount that can carry two.
They can dual-wield swords or blunt weapons.
Two-handed weapons for humans are single-handed for giants.
Cannot equip human and elf armor, except for some helmets. They instead wear their own giant robes and giant armor.
Before G7, they cannot equip musical instruments.
Giants have their own unique weapons: Giant swords, knuckle weapons, and giant mallets.
Giants use more MP than other races to cast spells, and the ladeca regenerates less MP. INT boosts are lower for them as well.
Smash prepare time is shorter.
Defense skill adds more Defense than with the other races. Counterattack deals more damage.
Has a more effective Assault skill and, unlike the other races, can use it without shield equipped.
Can't use play dead and can't perform Party Music.
Giants can't wield a bow; instead, they can throw javelins as their only long-range weapon.
History Giants live in the snowfields of Physis, far to the north of the Rano region of Iria.
